I have more than 6 years of real-time projects experience in web technology especially working with various languages including PHP, Javascript, MySql, HTML, CSS, Python, and Node.js and also open sources such as Magento Community and Enterprise Edition, Wordpress, Codeigniter, Yii2, and Laravel. Involved in creating standard and dynamic websites for business, e-commerce solution to meet the business needs and implementing it for overall success. Being an advocate for developing software from Seed Stage Wireframe to building the prototype to designing the feature rich web application and web sites for our clients. Coordinating with business analyst, design and testing team on a pitch of improving customer acquisition which directly helps websites to bring in more customers and business. Implemented my skills in developing customized modules in Magento 2 to meet the requirements.

Research on various open source platforms and completed database migration from Magento 1 to 2, windows application running PHP code base as the requirements demanded. Worked to establish largest eCommerce retailer in US (Dollar General) to have a best online presence and establish its customer journey with a unique set of features rich website with a new look. To handle team members and eventually coordinate with different technical teams for planning, organizing and creating a product with customer satisfaction.

Dollar General is a merchant who sells home products in more than 240 physical stores in the US. The project goal is to migrate Dollar General’s online business from eBay to Magento 2.x with more than 15 third party integration such as netsuite, web collage, ordergroove, etc.,

  • Extend Magento functionalities to meet the client’s requirements by creating custom Magento modules.
  • Managing Bitbucket code commits using Tortoise git

Gold Coast project scope is to build an online e-commerce portal with the latest version of Magento community edition to sell motor products. This is an onsite model project.

Phizzle Mobile

Phizzle mobile is one of the application of Phizzle client. The main idea of the project is to give support to the existing web application which was built in core PHP. The web tool is mainly used for sending bulk SMS using Openmarket SMS gateway.

Responsibilities

  • Involved as a Lead Developer and involved in migration
  • Migrated the entire application and huge database from Rackspace to AWS
  • Went through the code base and understood the flow of the tool and estimated the project to move to Yii2 PHP framework
  • Enhanced existing features of phizzlemobile
  • I was available round the clock for the immediate support during the migration
  • Assisted QA team to validate the test cases

Interests

Apart from being a web developer, I enjoy most of my time being outdoors, playing ping pong. I am fond of gardening and a nature lover. I spend time in my small garden to plant vegetables and flowers.

When forced indoors, I follow a number of thriller and crime genre movies and television shows, I am an aspiring runner, participated in half marathons, and I spend a large amount of my free time exploring the latest technolgy advancements in the web development world.
